Olive Anyone?

A French apéritif often includes a bowl of olives, along with other small easy to eat finger foods. My girls love olives and they love to help serve our guests the small plates of food we've prepared to go along with the pre-dinner drinks. But my girls take the meaning of the words-finger foods-to a new level with this serving technique. Don't worry, we didn't have guests the day they were passing out olives this way. Happy Love Thursday :)

My Girl does that and then gets everyone to admire her new manicure. Charming!

My niece, when she was little, loved olives so much we had to watch that she wouldn't eat the entire bowl of them!

Greetings to your sweet girls.

I've never liked olives, but craved them during my pregnancies. Both my girls love them, and I can now tolerate black olives in a salad or pizza, but not plain.

I could see my kids eating them that way as well!

Such a multi-purpose food!
Who knew olives were fingertip warmers?

It was a tradition for me growing up on Thanksgiving Day! :)

How cute. Looks like there could be a Halloween costume in the making with this idea.

I'm so used to my kids touching my food these days that I wouldn't flinch if a friend served olives this way.

I'll have one-at least they were not shoving the olives up their noses!

I'd eat an olive off a finger. Yum! I used to do the same thing, too.

I can't believe I never did that!
Dip my finger in the butter and then the sugar bowel, yes...but how did I miss this one?

This is great! I did the same thing as a child. I have always loved olives, all types. My two darlings do not and I need to show them what fun they are missing out on.

And here I thought I came up with that when I was five.

Must be something that goes beyond borders :)
