In honor of tomorrow's World Nutella Day, I share with you the most used recipe in our home. The recipe for a Nutella sandwich (click on the photo to get step by step instructions)...not difficult and rare is the day when one is not eaten chez moi. My girls are growing up on these. I've tried in vain to convince them that peanut butter is good, too. Long live Nutella.

OK you know I'm all for Nutella (of course!) but this has got to be balanced out with peanut butter! How can they not see this?!
Great photo and thanks so much for participating :)
I love Nutella myself. I thought the French spurned good ol' peanut butter . .
Mmm! Nutella!
LOL...I am continually shocked that none of my kids will eat a peanut butter and Nutella sandwich (or even plain Nutella). What kid wouldn't like a giant Reese's Peanut Butter Cup??
Oh, I am so posting that button.
And, well, I'll confess: I eat it straight from the jar. :-)
Our daughter is growing up on Nutella too, but I confess I put an underlayer of peanut butter on first before adding the nutella. Once the chocolate goes on she doesn't notice ;-).
Ah, I am so tempted to go grab my Nutella and the baguette I just bought! Have you introduced your girls to Nutella AND peanut butter? That's a combo made in heaven :)
Nutella is one of my favorite food items. I've caught my husband eating it straight from the jar. That stinker. Oh yum.
Had no idea it was today! Fantastic. I'm going to steal your idea -- and give you credit, of course.
My little one adores nutella on her pancakes! But neither of mine will touch peanut butter!
Shame I haven't got any baguette in......
This sandwich is a staple in our house! ;) Bad news though...I pulled out my jar of Nutella this afternoon for a snack and it smelled like rancid oil!
Nutella tastes like chocolate to me-therefore I love it, but not on toast for breakfast like the French.
We totally eat our nutella sandwiches with peanut butter. Yum!!
I think nutella sandwiches are the best, too!
Strange, I am not a big PB person (although I did keep some at my house in Texas for emergencies.) But, the other day I had the biggest peanut butter craving! Strange...
Little S has discovered PB here in Mexico and so now he want PB and Nutella sandwiches (made with perfect stripes of each one--not mixed) They are surprisingly good together!
Oooh! how did I miss this! To think, my daughter shares her birthday with Nutella Day and we didn't know! And I loved your skiing tales, too: made me nostalgic for the mountains that were by our house when we were living in Italy ... now we're in Ohio, nary a mountain in sight.
World Nutella Day! LOL!
My girls have always preferred it to peanut butter too...I can't really stomach the Nutella, although I have tasted it in pastries ("rissoles au Nutella") and it was pretty good there.
